Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Laager Pure Rooibos teabags
Method:
- In a saucepan, bring the milk and teabags to a simmer for about 3-5 minutes, until the Rooibos is infused into the milk. Leave to cool down completely. Discard teabags.
- Mix the dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, mix the Rooibos milk, vanilla, and eggs together.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until smooth and well combined.
- Cook waffles in a waffle iron until golden brown on the outside and fluffy and cooked through in the centre.
- Serve with ice cream.
