We have put together a few Green Tea Infused Water recipes for you to enjoy in summer – ensuring you still get all the goodness our Tetley Pure Green Tea has to offer.
Ginger and lemon Green tea water
Ingredients:
- 3 liters of water
- 6 Tetley Pure Green Tea teabags
- 3 Lemons, 1 sliced and juice from 2
- Fresh Ginger
Method:
Simmer your water in a medium sized pot over a low heat. Add in the tea bags and let it steep for 20 minutes. Juice two of the lemons and add it into the water. Peel 5cms of fresh ginger, grate or slice it and add it to the mixture. Take the pot off the heat and let it cool, strain the mix and place the liquid with one lemon sliced into jars or bottles and store it in the fridge.
Fruity Green tea water
Ingredients:
- Grapes, sliced
- Strawberries, sliced
- Cherries, sliced
- 1 cup of Tetley Pure Green Tea
- 2 cups of water
Method:
In a large mason jar or jug mix your cup of Tetley Pure Green Tea with 2 cups of water. Add in all the sliced fruit. Stir while gently pushing some of the fruit against the jar and let it infuse for 2 hours in your refrigerator. Once done, pour it into your juice bottle and sip throughout the day.
Mint Green tea water
Ingredients:
- 10-15 mint leaves
- 1 small cucumber, sliced
- 1 cup of Tetley Pure Green Tea
- 2 cups of water
Method:
Mix 1 cup Tetley Pure Green Tea with 2 cups of water and pour it in a mason jar or your juice bottle. Slightly crush the mint leaves and add them into your jar with the cucumber. Let it sit for 2 hours to infuse the water. Once ready – sip all day and enjoy!
Tips:
- Use coconut water, fennel water or cumin water to dilute with Green tea instead of plain water.
- You may use frozen fruits if you are in a hurry.
- Add a dash of Himalayan salt, black salt or sea salt to the Green tea water to help enhance the flavour.
