Ingredients
- 4 - 6 Tea4Kidz Strawberry Rooibos teabags
- 125 g (½ punnet) strawberries, thinly sliced (divided use)
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 3 tablespoons (66 ml) raw honey
- 5-10 capacity popsicle mold and sticks (depends on mold size)
Method
- Add boiling water to the teabags. Stir in 3 tablespoons of raw honey until dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then remove teabags.
- Wash and slice the strawberries thinly, keeping half of them aside for later use.
- In a blender, add strawberries, mixed berries and the cooled Rooibos mixture. Blend well and then add evenly into each mold, filling them up.
- Insert the remaining strawberry slices into the molds.
- Insert the sticks into the molds and place them in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until solid.
- In a saucepan, brew your tea for 2 minutes, and stir in the butter and brown sugar.
- To release the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds.
