Ingredients
2 cups Raw whole oats
½ cup Almond nuts, roughly chopped or slivered
½ cup Sunflower seeds
½ cup Dried prunes or dates or raisin
½ cup Dried apricot or dried pears
½ tsp Salt
2 TBSP Sunflower oil or olive oil
2 TBSP Golden syrup
¼ cup Tetley Pure green tea, cooled
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 and line your oven dish with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, add your oats, nuts, seeds and dried fruit and mix well.
- Add the salt, oil, syrup and tea until well combined.
- Pour on baking dish and ensure its evenly placed.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden, ensuring that you toss it every 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Store the rest in an airtight container and keep for 2 weeks.
