Omelette:
Ingredients
- 1 Tea4Kidz Rooibos and Honeybush Teabag
- 125 ml Water, Boiling
- 4 Slices Bacon
- 60 ml Tea Syrup
- 30 ml Onion
- 30 ml Tomato
- 30 ml Bell Pepper, Yellow
- 30 ml Bell pepper, Red
- 2 Eggs (30ml)

Serving: 1
Method
- Place a Tea4Kidz Rooibos and Honeybush teabag into a mug, followed by boiling water and allow to brew for 4 minutes.
- Remove the teabag, and let the tea cool completely.
- In a saucepan, cook the bacon. Once cooked, remove two slices from the pan, add the Tea syrup to the remaining bacon, and let simmer over a low heat, for +- 3 minutes.
- Fine dice the onion, tomato, red bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper.
- Sauté the onion, tomato, and bell peppers in a saucepan until slightly brown.
- Crack eggs into a bowl, and add 15ml of the cooled brewed tea. Season as desired.
- Pour the egg mixture into an oiled and heated pan, ensuring the egg fully covers the surface of the pan. Let cook at a low heat, until the egg is set.
- Add cooked veg, bacon, and cheese onto one half of the pan. Using a spatula, flip the opposite end (that has no filling) over the veg, bacon, and cheese mix.
