    Reindeer card

    You’ll need:

    • 2 A4 sheets of different coloured cardboard, preferably light and dark brown
    • Scissors
    • Glue
    • Reindeer template

    Method:

Step 1: Print out the template on 1 sheet of the coloured / paper cardboard or on plain white paper and fold in half horizontally. If you prefer, you can draw your own reindeer template.

Step 2: Colour in or paint the reindeer. Once decorated, cut along the black lines.
Step 3: On a separate sheet of coloured cardboard, trace your child’s hands. Cut out the hand prints and glue them to the back of the reindeer’s head where the antlers should be.
Step 4: When done, open the card and help your child write somebody a special Christmas message.

    Sparkly Tree Christmas Cards

    You’ll need:

    • 2A4 green cardboard
    • A4 red cardboard
    • Glue stick
    • Scissors
    • Star sequins

    Method:

Step 1: Moms, you may need to help with this step. Fold the A4 red cardboard in half, turning it into a card. Fold the A4 green cardboard in half and cut out two green triangles which will represent the trees.

Step 2: The kids can take over from here. Have them stick the green tringle to the front of the card and stick on as many star sequins as they like over the entire tree.
Step 3: Once the glue has dried and the stars are stuck down you can open the card and help your children write a Christmas message.

    Tip:

If you don’t have star sequins, you can use glitter instead.

    Father Christmas Cotton Wool Card

    You’ll need:

    • Cotton wool balls or roll
    • A3 cardboard
    • A4 piece of white paper
    • Crayons
    • Glue stick
    • Scissors

    Method:

Step 1: Fold the A3 cardboard in half and set it aside. Draw or print out a Father Christmas face template.

Step 2: Colour in the face but not the beard area.
Step 3: Cut out the face and stick it on the front of the card.
Step 4: Tear pieces of the cotton wool and place them in a bowl on a table. Using a glue stick, roll the glue across the beard area and stick the pieces of the cotton wool over it. Keep doing this until the entire beard is covered in cotton wool.
Step 5: When the front of the card is completed, you can open it up and help your child write a message to their friend.

At More4Momz, we like to encourage quality time spent between parents and their children.
