HARVEST BOARD WITH LAAGER CITRUS & GINGER FLAVOURED ROOIBOS SYRUP

SYRUP INGREDIENTS:

2 cups Water
2 cups Castor sugar
6 - 8 bags Laager Citrus & Ginger flavoured Rooibos
1 Orange rind
1 Knob Ginger, thinly sliced

METHOD:

  1. Bring all the ingredients to the boil.
  2. Simmer until reduced to half.
  3. Sugar should be dissolved and syrup a bit thick.

BOARD INGREDIENTS:

    • Various fruit - dried oranges, olives, grapes, whole figs, heirloom tomatoes and nuts.
    • Various cheese - brie, blue cheese, goat’s cheese.
    • Various cold meat - salami, prosciutto, bresaola.
    • Various starch - bread sticks, bruschetta, pretzels, crackers, savoury biscuits.

TO ASSEMBLE:

Place the Laager Citrus & Ginger flavoured Rooibos syrup in the centre of the board and arrange the fruit & nuts, cold meat, cheese and starch around it.

Enjoy with some freshly brewed Laager Citrus & Ginger flavoured Rooibos tea.
