Tetley Lemon flavoured Green Tea Chia Juice

Carol Mkhize shared one of her favourite ways to start her day with this Tetley Green Tea Chia Juice recipe which she makes before her home workouts.

½ Lemon
1 tsp Chia seeds
1 bag Tetley lemon flavoured Green Tea*
1 cup Boiling water
500 ml Cold water
1 L Bottle

 

Method:

  1. Make 1 cup of Tetley lemon flavoured Green Tea with boiling water and allow it to cool for 3-5 minutes.
  2. In the bottle, add 500 ml cold water, the juice of ½ a lemon and the chia seeds.
  3. Once cooled, add the Tetley lemon flavoured Green Tea to the bottle and set aside for at least 5 minutes to allow the chia seeds to swell.
  4. Add a few lemon slices and drink 30 mins before your workout.

*Tetley Mint flavoured Green Tea can be used as a substitute
