Sweet & Smokey Laager Rooibos Bbq Dry Rub Mix


¼ cup Dark brown sugar
2 TBSP Smokey salt
1 ½ TBSP Smoked paprika
2 tsp Chilli flakes
4 TBSP Laager Rooibos (remove leaves from teabags and discard bags)
2 tsp Dried rosemary
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 ½ tsp Pepper, ground
1 tsp Mustard seeds
½ tsp Dried thyme
½ tsp Chilli powder
¼ tsp All spice, ground


  1. Place all the ingredients into a mortar and grind with a pestle until smooth and well combined.
  2. Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
  3. You can use this mix as a dry rub on red meat, chicken, seafood , veggies, tofu, corn on the cob, or just sprinkle on already grilled veggies.
