Rooibos Pineapple Smoothie Recipe

Easy nutritious smoothie with the rooibos twist & health benefits. Older kids can get in on the fun and help with making this smoothie, which turns breakfast into a flavour exploration.

Servings: 2 

Serving size: 200ml


INGREDIENTS

 

1 whole                               Frozen banana, cut in half

375ml (1 1/2 cups)             Frozen pineapple chunks

150g (3/4 cup)                    Plain yoghurt or vanilla flavoured yoghurt

250ml (1 cup)                     Brewed and cooled Tea4kidz rooibos original (1 teabag in a cup)

To taste                               Fresh pineapple wedges and mint sprigs for garnish optional

METHOD


  1. Add banana, frozen pineapple, brewed Tea4kidz rooibos tea & yoghurt in a blender. 
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into 2 glasses. Garnish with pineapple wedges and mint sprigs if desired.
