1 ½ cups Milk 2 teabags Tetley Masala chai 1 cup Rolled oats 1 Banana, mashed
5 Dates, pitted and chopped 1 TBS Chia seeds ½ tsp. Cinnamon, freshly ground ½ tsp. Cardamom, freshly ground
Topping ingredients:
1 cup Mixed nuts, chopped (almonds and walnuts) 1 TBSP. Brown sugar 3 tsp. Butter or coconut oil melted and slightly cooled 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder pinch of salt
Instructions 1. Preheat oven 175 degrees and grease a non-stick casserole 2. Bring milk to a simmer in a small saucepan. Add Tetley Masala Chai teabags and remove from heat leaving it to steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags after five minutes and pour into your casserole Next add your oats, banana, dates, chia seeds, cinnamon and cardamom into the tea, stir to combine. 3. In a bowl combine nuts, brown sugar, butter/coconut oil, cinnamon and salt. 4. Use your hands to mix and rub brown sugar into the nuts 5. Add nut mixture over oats. Place in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden. Enjoy!
