Creamy Masala Chai Hot Chocolate

Ingredients - four servings

4 x Tetley Masala Chai tea bags

4 x Cups coconut milk

125g x Dark chocolate chips

5 x Tbsp cocoa powder

2 x Tbsp honey

1 Can Coconut whipped cream (for topping)

1 Tbsp Toasted coconut flakes (for topping)

Method:

  1. In a saucepan set over medium heat, warm coconut milk for 8-10 minutes or until steaming and small bubbles form around the edge of the pan.
  2. Remove from heat, add tea bags to the milk.
  3. Steep for 8-10 minutes or until well flavoured.
  4. Remove tea bags and discard.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and honey for 3-5 minutes or until smooth and melted.
  6. Divide tea mixture evenly among 4 mugs or latte glasses.
  7. Top with coconut whipped cream and toasted coconut flakes.
