Society Cappuccino Shortbread

INGREDIENTS  


1.5 cups                               Plain flour

45 g                                      Hazelnuts

¼ cup                                   Rice flour

¼ cup                                   Castor sugar

250 g                                    Butter, chopped

2 sachets                              Society Coffee Cappuccino - Vanilla flavour

1 sachet                                Society Coffee Cappuccino - Hazelnut flavour


METHOD


  1. Preheat the oven to 160˚C
  2. Place flour, butter, hazelnuts and rice flour in a blender and process until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs
  3. Add sugar and blend
  4. Turn mixture onto a floured surface and knead lightly to make a pliable dough 
  5. Place dough between sheets of wax baking paper and roll out to 5mm thick
  6. Score dough to the desired size and bake for 20 – 25 min until lightly browned
  7. Leave to cool in baking trays for 2 - 3 min before transferring to wire racks to cool
  8. Place melted chocolate into a piping bag and pipe your shortbread
