Tetley Green tea infused Granola Crunch

INGREDIENTS

2 cups            Raw whole oats

½ cup             Almond nuts, roughly chopped or slivered

½ cup             Sunflower seeds

½ cup             Dried prunes or dates or raisin

½ cup             Dried apricot or dried pears

½ tsp              Salt

2 TBSP           Sunflower oil or olive oil 

2 TBSP           Golden syrup

¼ cup             Tetley Pure green tea, cooled

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180 and line your oven dish with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl, add your oats, nuts, seeds and dried fruit and mix well.
  3. Add the salt, oil, syrup and tea until well combined.
  4. Pour on baking dish and ensure its evenly placed.
  5. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden, ensuring that you toss it every 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  7. Store the rest in an airtight container and keep for 2 weeks.
